Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Andrew To is a glaucoma-certified, therapeutic optometrist. He grew up in Northwest Houston and received his Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Houston. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. In addition to making Dean’s list, Dr. To received clinical honors during his studies. While as a student, Dr. To volunteered as a teaching assistant, helping students during their contact lens laboratory. As a result, he has gained invaluable experience fitting specialty, as well as complicated contact lens fittings. Dr. To has received extensive clinical training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases during his internships at the Illinois Eye Institute, Cleveland VA Hospital and White River Junction VA Hospital. He also did internships specializing in Pediatrics, Low Vision and Refractive Surgery.

He has been practicing for over 15 years. Along with co-managing refractive, lasik and cataract surgeries with multiple ophthalmologists in the Woodlands/Conroe area, he is also involved in the diagnosis and treatment of many eye diseases. He is married to Dr. Vicky Pham, who he met in Optometry school, and they have 5 lovely children. Dr. To enjoys snowboarding/skiing, watching movies, and taking family vacations.

Dr. Binita Gupta was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, after which she pursued her optometry education at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO).

Following her studies at ICO, Dr. Gupta returned to Kenya, where she worked with the Lions Sight First Eye Hospital and various private practices in Nairobi. She provided routine exams, performed contact lens fittings, co-managed cataracts and refractive surgeries, and treated ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye. The different modalities allowed her to experience a specialty in contact lens fitting and care. At the Lion’s Eye Hospital, she orchestrated the expansion of the Optometry and Optical Department to engineer a high-street private practice model with automated equipment and a high-tech optical lab to provide superior eye care to the privileged and underprivileged population. Dr. Gupta moved back to the US in 2018 and has since practiced in the Woodlands, Tomball, and Conroe vicinities. Dr. Gupta’s goal is to provide comprehensive vision care and promote healthy habits, allowing patients to envisage a quality life with optimal vision.

Dr. Gupta is sociable and cherishes spending time with her loved ones. She enjoys exploring new destinations, indulging in various culinary delights, and watching movies. Dr. Gupta and her husband, Sandeep, first met in Kenya and are now happily married. They have two children, a daughter named Simran and a son named Shyamal.

Dr. Hieu Le has been in practice for over 22 years after receiving his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston with Magna Cum Laude honors and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While at the College of Optometry, Dr. Le served as a teaching assistant for both the optometric procedures and the contact lens courses. Additionally, he was also a tutor for both the optics and the pharmacology courses. He was recognized for his outstanding academic and clinical skills by receiving several Clinical Letters of Excellence and was elected to the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric National Honor Society. He completed his externship training at St. Joseph Hospital and also at Mann Berkeley Eye Center in Houston, Texas. These programs gave him extensive clinical experience in ocular disease, glaucoma, cataract and refractive surgery management.

Dr. Le enjoys providing the highest quality comprehensive and contact lens eye care to the communities of the Woodlands and Cypress. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching movies, while also staying active through exercise and playing tennis.
